Fair and equitable compensation for taxi plate owners.

The SFF Party Continues Fight for NSW Taxi Industry

The Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party recognise the Taxi Owners Small Business Association (TOSBA) as the only association that represents the interests of taxi owners trading as small businesses.

The New South Wales Government has failed to provide adequate and fair compensation to hard working, law abiding small business taxi owners that provide an irreplaceable service to New South Wales.

After years of campaigning to end this injustice the Shooters Fishers and Farmers are now supporting TOSBA in petitioning the Government.

This petition will ask that rideshare be brought into compliance with the Point to Point Transport Act (Taxi and Hire Vehicles) Act 2016 and restrict the growing number of private hire vehicles spreading through New South Wales cities and country towns, destroying small taxi businesses.

The petition will also ask that the Government commit to rightful compensation to plate owners and an appropriate distribution of “hardship” transitional assistance free of the unfair application requirements currently in force.

The Shooters Fishers and Farmers will continue fighting with TOSBA until justice is restored.

We urge you all to support TOSBA and sign this petition and send a clear message to the Government that our taxi industry deserves better.
