Blatant discrimination against taxis in Double Bay

A newly erected road sign is unjustifyingly giving Uber and hire cars the right to enter Knox St Double Bay to execute their services under the recently enforced introduction of the Point 2 Point NSW transport system. Taxis by the instructions on the road sign are now obviously not included but excluded. How DARE the powers to be show utter distain for the Taxi Industry which has served the public in good faith for more than sixty years and being currently dessimated.

Since when is signage for a specific brand name of a multi global corporation being issued in the form of a cost free advertisement, i.e. “Uber ” on this signage and deleting the acknowledgment of TAXIS all together, at the very least is discriminative to the TAXI INDUSTRY of NSW.
